Terry has been married to wife Carol for 38years. He has resided in Brooklyn Park for 37 years, raised 2 boys, and is a proud grandfather.
During the youth of his two sons he coached BPAA baseball, football, and managed hockey teams as well.Terry is a retired Firefighter and is currently employed as a Fire Investigator for EFI Global. Terry has an AAS Degree in Fire Science and Fire Protection.
Terry was elected to the East District Council seat in 2014, and began serving his first term in January 2015. He ran for office because of his love for the city.
He wants to make sure the City is heading in the right diretion with all residents in mind, not special interest groups.
Currently Terry is the Council Liaison to the Park and Rec Commission,
Community Action team, and currently serving as Mayor Pro Tem. In the past Terry has served on Human Rights Commission, Charter Commission, and the Recreation and Parks Commission. He has also seved in the community by working with Tater Daze, Elks Lions, Scouts, elections, school and church functions and coaching. He has been active with the city since 1983 including Brooklyn Park Fire Department Paid on Call.
Terry is a great listener and will take in views from all sides to make informed decision..
